Job Summary
Maintain proper staffing levels within the Cage by reducing staff or calling staff, and delegate assignments while ensuring fair treatment of Team Members. Supervise, train, schedule, and counsel Team Members on daily operations, overseeing cashier duties and assisting with Title 31 compliance training. Balance opening and closing accountability, safeguard funds within the Cage/Vault, and monitor vault cash levels. Process outgoing deposits, incoming deliveries, and patron kiosk cash drops, while providing test monies and verifying revenue from outlets and Count teams. Process Slot Department banks, jackpots, and Table Games fill requests, completing exchanges with cashiers to maintain drawer impressions. Adhere to all Tribal, federal, state, and local laws, maintain confidentiality, and complete required training. Work extended shifts, weekends, and holidays in a loud, smoke-filled environment, potentially working at other properties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of cash-handling experience
- Must read, write and speak English fluently
- Must have basic math skills
- Must have proficient computer experience to operate the key systems above
- Must be able to operate a ten-key calculator by touch, with a high degree of accuracy and speed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be flexible with shifts and days off with the ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and special events, etc., as needed
- Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission
- Must be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law
