Job Summary
Process monetary transactions at a casino cage, including frontline entry-level transactions, chip bank transactions, cage credit transactions, and employee bank/window transactions; cash checks per guidelines; redeem chips/tokens, TITO tickets, and Race and Sports tickets; conduct Marker and Front Money transactions; securely document all recordable transactions with company assets; complete transaction logs accurately and manually when needed; maintain consistent attendance; requires strong math, 10-key, cash handling, and balance reconciliation; proficient in English communication, multi-tasking, and customer service; basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); 21+ and able to obtain Nevada gaming license; willing to work varied shifts.
Required Qualifications
- General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and money handling
- Ability to balance a bank without assistance
- Knowledge of 10-key adding machine, currency counter and cash advance machine
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of Casino Cage Cashier experience
Additional Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain/renew Nevada gaming license
