Job Summary
Cage Cashier responsible for a wide range of monetary transactions in a high-volume casino setting, including the even exchange of cash and receipts, balancing funds at the end of shifts, safeguarding company assets, verifying customer I.D.s, and completing required forms accurately. Performs data entry in casino management systems and Title 31 software, while following federal/state regulations and department SOPs (including Illinois Riverboat Act and Title 31/BSA/AML). Maintains composure in challenging situations and delivers exceptional guest service; works flexible shifts and adheres to policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years high-volume cash handling experience (preferred)
- ability to operate computer and 10-key
- flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to obtain and maintain required state employment licensing
- clear background of felonies and crimes of moral turpitude
