Job Summary
Cage Cashier executes guest monetary transactions at an assigned window bank, maintains accurate balance counts of assets, exchanges gaming chips and tickets, processes cash checks, manages markers and fills, issues window markers and safety deposit boxes, and enters transactions into the computer system while delivering professional customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate bank balances, safeguarding casino cage assets, assisting with credit applications, responding to guest inquiries, and upholding compliance with gaming regulations and company procedures. The role requires standing for most of the shift, a professional appearance, and the ability to operate money counters and related equipment; requires 21+ and potential certification/licensing as per gaming regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to read and speak English.
- Basic Math skills with knowledge of currency.
- Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters for cash and coin.
- Must be able to bend, push, lift, and carry up to 26 pounds in weight.
