Job Summary
The Poker Cage/Cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions within the poker room, including exchanging cash for chips, processing buy-ins, and assisting with payouts. Key responsibilities include conducting buy-ins and cash-outs, processing credit card transactions, maintaining records of transactions, reconciling cash drawers, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, strong math skills, and customer service experience, with the ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Strong math skills and ability to perform accurate calculations under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight (cash drawers)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience handling cash in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of poker (a plus, but not required)
