Job Summary
Cage Cashier (Part-Time) responsibilities include receiving cash and tickets, making change, balancing bank drawers within the Cage Department, maintaining accurate records under established policies, providing courteous guest service, and upholding the casino’s Standards of Excellence. Requires high school diploma or GED, cash handling experience, ability to communicate in English, and eligibility to obtain a Tribal Gaming Agency gaming license; auditions/skill testing and drug screening are required. Flexible for a 24/7 casino environment with potential shifts; prior casino/gaming experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of cash handling experience
- Ability to speak and understand the English language
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, operating guidelines
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and policies
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions)
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency
- Must be able to pass auditions or skill testing and a drug screening test
