Job Summary
Serving, managing the dish room, operating the cashier, preparing salads, baking, cooking breakfast and entrees, and handling clean-up duties to ensure the cafeteria runs smoothly and efficiently. Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisor or administrator, including adapting to changing needs and supporting the head cook and food service director. Maintain excellent personal hygiene, wear required uniform and hairnets, and comply with Illinois State Board of Education, Illinois Department of Public Health, and U.S.D.A. rules and regulations covering school feeding programs. Lift objects up to 40-60 pounds regularly and maintain high personal fitness.

- Tasks require extensive use of hands including repetitive gripping, grasping, lifting and manipulation of equipment necessary to perform duties
- Have excellent relationships as a team member with other employees
