Job Summary
The Cafeteria Cook supports daily operation of the school cafeteria through food preparation, meal service, sanitation, and kitchen support, ensuring meals are prepared and served safely, efficiently, and with high standards of quality and hospitality. Works with the Kitchen Manager and cafeteria team to deliver a positive dining experience for students, staff, and families; adheres to food safety and sanitation standards; assists with inventory, setup, service, cleanup, and teamwork; requires ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain. Schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–3:30 PM during the school year (10-month employee).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Certification required or willingness to obtain and maintain certification upon hire
