Job Summary
Train and supervise front-line employees on guest interactions, cash handling, and register procedures. Oversee daily Coaster Cafe operations, including staffing allocation, food safety compliance, portion controls, and equipment maintenance. Monitor stand cleanliness and presentation while ensuring adherence to Child Labor Laws and revenue reporting standards. Manage food production levels based on projected business and weather to minimize waste. Work flexible hours from 6:30 AM to 1:00 AM during the season, standing for up to eight hours per shift. Maintain proper footwear and work in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older on the date of applying
- at least one (1) year of Food & Beverage experience in a cafeteria setting
- at least two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Must be certified or be able to pass an alcohol service class (RAMP Training)
- Food Safety training (ServSafe certification)
- Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments
- Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
- Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information
- Proven guest relations, problem solving, task management, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Child Labor Law regulations
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including morning, evenings, weekends and holidays, with shifts starting as early as 6:30 AM and ending as late as 1:00 AM, in accordance with Child Labor Laws
- Must be able to work at least 32 hours a week, Memorial Day through Labor Day, and 15 hours a week in the off season
- ability to stand for up to eight hours at a time

- ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level
- lift up to twenty (20) pounds without assistance
- Must be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions
