Job Summary
Replenish napkin dispensers, plate racks, and condiments; prepare vegetables, salads, meats, bread, and desserts; make coffee and tea; and serve meals on the line. Wash dishes and utensils, store them orderly, and clean food service areas, tables, kitchen equipment, refrigerators, and floors. Assist with storage and inventory by transferring food ingredients from storage to the cooking area. Perform cooking duties as needed. Maintain a valid driver's license and current ServSafe certification to operate safely at the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR.
Required Qualifications
- current ServSafe (Food Handler) Certification
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- valid driver license in the state where the facility is located with an acceptable driving record
