Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and order in the cafeteria by cleaning tables, floors, and surfaces, promptly addressing spills and crumbs. Provide food and beverage service with proper presentation and portion sizes, while stocking and restocking food stations, beverages, condiments, napkins, and utensils. Monitor food safety standards to ensure hygienic storage, preparation, and service, and assist with buffet setup and labeling. Address guest complaints professionally and report serious issues to management. Work closely with kitchen staff and other attendants to ensure smooth operations during shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry light to medium-weight items
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
