Job Summary
Replenish napkin dispensers, plate racks, and condiments while making beverages and setting up cafeteria lines. Prepare vegetables, salads, meats, bread, and desserts; perform cooking duties as needed. Clean food service areas, wash dishes, and maintain orderly storage for supplies and equipment. Assist with transferring food ingredients from storage to the cooking area. Maintain a current ServSafe certification and possess a valid driver's license. Work full-time hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a wage of $17.20 per hour. Join MTC's Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR, dedicated to serving local youth.
Required Qualifications
- current ServSafe (Food Handler) Certification
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- valid driver license in the state where the facility is located
- acceptable driving record
