Job Summary
Provide high-quality service to guests through attentive, friendly, and courteous interactions while clearing, resetting, and stocking tables. Prepare buffet stations with silverware, plates, and glassware, and operate the P.O.S. system for cashiering functions and closing checks. Greet and seat guests, answer telephones, and fulfill room service orders while maintaining strict Aimbridge Hospitality standards for personal grooming and safety. Monitor inventory, manage garbage disposal, and perform opening and closing procedures as directed by management. Work flexible shifts to meet hotel needs, ensuring all food and beverage requirements are met efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
