Job Summary
Assist in overseeing kitchen operations under the School Nutrition Manager, participate in food preparation and serving, cashiering, and inventory; maintain NSLP compliance and record-keeping, support development of kitchen staff, ensure sanitation and HACCP standards, and provide customer service to students, staff, and the public; may function as cook, cashier, server or helper; requires computer use for ordering and adherence to established procedures and recipes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the preparation of foods in an institutional setting or childcare
