Cafeteria Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Oversee 10-15 employees on a daily basis, including hiring, training, discipline, and terminations. Prepare weekly menus and recipes while adhering to all Food Safety Protocols. Manage operating functions such as ordering, inventory management, and scheduling to maintain a positive relationship between VVS and its clients. Complete any other tasks related to the overall operation of a commercial kitchen facility. Report to the VVS Canteen Manager and District Manager on a regular and as needed basis. This full-time role requires one year of management experience in the food service industry and includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401k with company match, and paid holidays and vacation.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of management experience in the food service industry
- Must have a solid work history with work related references
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Creative cooking or catering experience
