Job Summary
Cafeteria Assistant Manager assists the Cafeteria Manager in leading the campus CNP team, ensuring USDA standards and daily meal preparation requirements are met. Responsibilities include placing orders, monitoring food quality, maintaining sales records and data entry, managing inventory, coordinating with the Cafeteria Manager to promote College For All, ensuring reimbursable meals are served, counting/claiming procedures, audits, and staff leadership. Requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel); ability to delegate, motivate, and develop team members; and compliance with safety, sanitation, and budget/participation targets. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in food service or related fields; valid Texas driver’s license; and a preferred Food Handler’s Card (obtain within 30 days). Required Qualifications
