Job Summary
Run the POS system and handle cash daily. Provide a positive customer service experience for all guests while following proper food handling and safety procedures. Keep the café clean and organized during and after service times. Maintain food inventory and re-stock grab-and-go items and coolers. Communicate as a team member with other student café workers and the direct supervisor. Demonstrate professionalism including proper uniform, communication, and reliability. Perform other related duties as assigned. This role supports the Career and Technical Education Café at Cherry Creek Innovation Campus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum completion of middle school education
- Able to handle customer interactions professionally
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire
- Maintain or ability to acquire ServSafe Food Handler certification
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Eye/hand coordination for register and computer operation

- CCIC Hospitality and Tourism pathway student
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
