Job Summary
The Café Supervisor aids the Store Manager by overseeing daily store operations in the absence of the manager, ensuring consistent service, supervising staff, maintaining store standards, managing cash handling, inventory, and compliance with health, safety, and ABC regulations. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness and visual appeal, monitoring inventory and placing orders (including alcohol), supervising staff, training and onboarding, payroll and timekeeping, supporting marketing initiatives, resolving customer issues, and upholding company policies. Requires strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic math and computer skills, knowledge of ABC laws, and a high school diploma or equivalent; alcohol server/manager certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) may be required by local/state law.
