Job Summary
Oversee café operations by opening and closing daily, brewing coffee and barista beverages, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean, food-safe environment. Manage staff and volunteers by creating schedules, recruiting, training, and supervising employees during events and peak hours. Operate the point-of-sale system for cash handling, deposits, and sales reporting while updating menu boards and managing inventory. Recruit, train, and manage café staff and volunteers to ensure efficient service. Work evening and weekend hours as determined by the events schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours as determined by the events schedule
- Consistent attendance and participation in Grace Church and involvement in the life of the church
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years in Café management preferred
- ServSafe Manager Certified preferred
- Working knowledge of food service and customer service
- Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit
- Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20)
- Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations
