Job Summary

Cafe Sous Chef at Daily Provisions leads kitchen operations alongside the Cafe Chef, ensuring execution of menus, maintaining culinary standards, training and developing BOH staff, and delivering Enlightened Hospitality across in-restaurant dining, third-party delivery, and catering. Responsibilities include directing team execution, expediting service, educating FOH on menu and procedures, maintaining health code standards, and ensuring recipes and preparations meet Daily Provisions’ specifications. Must have at least 2 years of culinary/kitchen leadership in casual dining, strong food & beverage knowledge, and ability to train Back of House team members. Certification in hospitality-related field preferred. Compensation includes a $70,000 annual base with potential bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of culinary/kitchen leadership and casual dining experience
  • excellent food & beverage knowledge
  • experience in training and developing Back of House team members
  • ability to communicate clearly across teams
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • certification in a Hospitality-related field, or equivalent, preferred
  • English fluency; additional languages preferred
