Job Summary
Greet and welcome guests in the Café, taking orders for Starbucks drinks, coffee, tea, and food items. Operate the point of sale system to process payments and prepare specialty coffee drinks, serving items promptly while answering menu questions. Perform minor food prep, replenish inventory, and maintain a clean workspace and dining area. Provide courteous service, project a professional appearance, and remain calm in stressful situations. Work variable hours including AM and PM shifts, with availability for some weekends and holidays. Full-time candidates receive medical, dental, and vision plans after 60 days, plus PTO after one year, holiday pay, 401(k), and discounts on room, food, and retail.
Required Qualifications
- Must work variable hours, AM and Pm, must be available to work some weekends and holidays
- Project a neat, clean and professional appearance
- Be articulate and able to communicate effectively to staff and guests including children, verbally and in writing
- Be committed to the highest standards of hospitality and express a sincere interest in the needs and comfort of guests
- Ability to remain calm in a stressful situation
- Be dependable, flexible and possess an even temperament
