Job Summary
Cafe Manager leads Daily Provisions cafe operations in the New York City area, overseeing Front of House and Back of House teams and collaborating with other location managers to deliver best-in-class service and hospitality. The role requires expert knowledge of beverage and kitchen stations, accountability for payroll accuracy and HR practices, adherence to health and safety standards (DOHMH Food Protection), inventory control, staff development, and cross-location teamwork to create an outstanding guest experience. Strong communication skills in English (Spanish preferred) and a focus on cultivating Enlightened Hospitality for guests, employees, and digital orders are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years management experience in a similar environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise gained from time on the job
- NYC DOHMH Food Protection Certificate holder
- English fluency
- Spanish preferred
