Job Summary
Oversee shift responsibilities at the Urban Air Café by guiding team performance, managing kitchen and service areas, and ensuring all processes, systems, and standards are executed correctly. Handle deliveries, maintain storage rotation to minimize wastage, and train staff on the full menu and drink preparation. Address guest concerns independently, lead team meetings, and model punctuality, hygiene, and cleanliness. Work fast in a noisy, fast-paced environment during days, nights, and weekends as required, adhering to scheduled shifts with flexibility to stay beyond business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of prior food and beverage experience
- Must have a current ServSafe or similar food handling certification, or be willing to get one within the first 30 days of employment
- Must be willing to work days, nights, and/or weekends
- Must be willing to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- Must be willing to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
