Job Summary
Lead and manage all kitchen operations as Café Head Chef, creating seasonal menus with fresh, local ingredients; develop recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines; oversee purchasing, inventory, invoices, and cost controls to maximize efficiency and minimize waste; train and mentor kitchen staff; ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations; maintain equipment and facilities; support front-of-house and guest service; complete reports and schedules; collaborate with leadership to meet operational goals; integrate recovery clients into kitchen duties; step into operational roles as needed; offers a daytime schedule with collaborative environment and opportunities to develop a dedicated culinary team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred; ServSafe certification; Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary experience with leadership responsibilities; Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, food costing, inventory management, and kitchen operations; Strong understanding of food safety regulations; Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally
