Job Summary
Cashier role in the Columbus Museum of Art’s café, combining barista-style beverage preparation, food service, and guest-facing hospitality. Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing espresso and specialty beverages, running food, bussing tables, processing transactions and balancing the cash drawer, reporting needs to the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of café areas, stocking supplies, and assisting with outdoor patio service as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Professional serving experience in restaurants and/or catering.
- Appreciation for and understanding of the Museum’s mission and purpose
- Strong commitment to quality and guest experience
- Exhibit professionalism in attire, work habits, and communication
- Uniform Requirements: This position does require maintaining a dress code (including non-slip shoes) and a clean, professional personal appearance.
