Job Summary
Assist guests at the counter with food and drink service, cashiering, and menu recommendations to drive repeat business. Manage queues, upsell to maximize profit, and handle guest complaints directly while reporting feedback to leadership. Prepare and cook food items by measuring ingredients, storing them at appropriate temperatures, and rotating stock per established procedures. Maintain café and kitchen cleanliness through table clearing, dishwashing, and trash removal while ensuring compliance with all health code regulations. Participate in regular staff meetings and training as required. Work fast with a sense of urgency in a noisy, fast-paced environment, standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills of adding and subtracting
- Willingness to learn, take instruction and work under own initiative
- Supporting other team members
- Able to multitask
- Strong sense of discipline and urgency
- Holds oneself accountable for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism
- Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Desired Qualifications

- Previous restaurant/quick service experience
- ServSafe or similar food handling certification
- Friendly and engaging personality
- Good written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable working with members of the public
- Able to initiate conversations and provide a sincere welcome and enjoy providing good service
