Job Summary
Manage all cash transactions at the start and end of shifts, including receiving bank deposits, counting funds, and processing comps, coupons, and money orders. Greet guests upon entry and exit, verify coupon and comp dates, and prepare baked goods while setting up the salad bar and washing utensils. Remove trash and perform other assigned tasks as directed by the Food & Beverage Supervisor. This role requires a valid VI food handler's card, strong math skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Shifts are flexible Monday through Friday, including weekends and overtime, with pay starting at $13/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED
- Valid VI food handler's card
- Ability to speak and understand primary language(s) used by the guest who typically visit the work location
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills
- Ability to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours in length
- Ability to bend and stoop on occasion
