Job Summary
Cafe Cashier at Muir Woods Trading Company within Muir Woods National Monument. Responsible for preparing food and beverages per recipes and company standards, managing guest orders with the Point-of-Sale system, maintaining knowledge of menu items, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and cash handling procedures, and supporting a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Role emphasizes hospitality, customer service, accuracy in order fulfillment, and adherence to ISO/Environmental & Quality systems as well as cash handling policies.
Required Qualifications
- ServSafe Certification
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
- Excellent communication skills and be a team player
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and handle tasks involving bending, twisting and squatting
- Experience: Café Cashier experience (1 year preferred)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
