Job Summary
Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to Club recipes and responsible-service guidelines while maintaining a clean, fully stocked bar. Greet members and guests immediately, make beverage recommendations, and accurately enter orders into the POS system. Set up the bar before service, wash glassware, and complete opening and closing procedures including member check verification. Monitor alcohol consumption, check identification when required, and report equipment or inventory concerns to management. Work a flexible full-time schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand written and verbal directions in English at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with members, guests, colleagues, and management.
- At least six months of bartending, food and beverage, or private-club service experience.
- Previous experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Must meet all applicable age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Must possess a working knowledge of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, classic cocktails, and proper pouring techniques.
- Must understand responsible alcohol service, bar sanitation, glassware, beverage presentation, cash and member-account handling, and appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
- Must be able to stand and move at a quick pace for several hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 35 pounds, including furniture, glassware, dishes, ice, beer, wine, liquor, beverage racks, trays, and cases.

- Experience in a private club, luxury resort, hotel, restaurant, or similar service-focused environment.
