Job Summary
Demonstrate knowledge of drip coffee, espresso, and pastry stations while producing freshly prepared products following Starbucks recipes and speed of service standards. Educate and serve customers on craveable food and beverage products, maintaining PAR stock levels and adhering to merchandising and signing standards. Follow company standards to maintain work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department regulations, and open or close areas using appropriate checklists. Perform other duties as needed while fostering an environment of acceptance and respect. Full-time colleagues work 30+ hours per week with weekend shifts; part-time colleagues work 12-24 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
- May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
- Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with company, Starbucks, and Health Department standards
- All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years related experience preferred
