Job Summary
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies, and pre-packaged food items according to company recipes while operating espresso machines, coffee grinders, and blenders. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and handle concerns professionally by moving throughout the cafe and dealership to deliver orders. Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments using the POS system, balance cash drawers, and maintain transaction records. Serve light food items, follow food safety guidelines, monitor product freshness, and rotate inventory appropriately. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, wash dishes and tools, and perform opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties. Report equipment issues to management and monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and supplies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a food handlers license
- Have a valid CA Driver's License with a good driving record
