Job Summary
Prepare, present, and serve high-quality meals with excellent customer service while honoring resident preferences and choices. Manage meal service for long-term care and dementia residents in a warm, homelike environment. Maintain diplomatic, tactful, and confidential interactions with others. This role includes two days per week (every other Monday and Thursday) plus alternating weekends, with a schedule of 8:00am to 4:00pm. An hourly rate of $19.25 applies. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D.
- Food service experience
- ServeSafe Certified
- ability to obtain ServeSafe certification within 6 months
- Flu vaccine
Desired Qualifications
- cooking and culinary experience
- Skill and experience with long-term care and/or Dementia residents
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful, and confidential manner
