Job Summary
Work the food line, prepare smoothies, and/or buss tables according to portion control, time schedules, and sanitary standards set by the Executive Chef. Maintain high sanitation standards by completing daily cleaning tasks and ensuring assigned areas function efficiently. Report food needs to the chef, rotate daily food to prevent spoilage, and label leftovers per policy. Follow safety practices and attend in-service training sessions. Work every other weekend with shifts from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 2 PM to 7:30 PM on Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in the English Language
- Must be able to speak, understand, read and write in the English Language
- Must have an interest in working for the elderly
- Must like to smile, and smile often
- Must display excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team, and maintain a professional demeanor throughout the entire shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to work every other weekend with shifts that start as early as 8:30 AM and end as late as 3:30 PM Monday through Saturday and run from 2 PM-7:30 PM on Sunday
- Must be able to stand the majority of the time, walk short distances, stoop and reach for food. Must be able to lift food and equipment and withstand changes in temperature going in and out of coolers and freezers with or without reasonable accommodations
