Job Summary
Assist with planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating Bistro operations while preparing, cooking, and serving food and beverages to maintain high customer satisfaction. Deliver outstanding hospitality to patients, families, and visitors, fostering a positive environment that supports healing. Coordinate food-related activities with other departments and ensure all service activities align with food service laws and regulations. Requires ServSafe, Allergen, and Starbucks Barista training, plus strong communication skills for interacting with residents and staff. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule available at the Rochester Hills facility.
Required Qualifications
- ServSafe and Allergen Trained
- Starbucks Barista trained
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide Bistro services
- Must be knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff
