Job Summary
Prepare food, drinks, and ingredients including candy, baked goods, and fudge for sale while performing Barista, Café, and Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions. Maintain working knowledge of recipes and beverages, meet production deadlines, and follow food safety guidelines. Ensure products are stored correctly, adhere to cashier guidelines, and manage side work such as stocking, cleaning, and opening/closing procedures. Work assigned schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires ability to perform repetitive fudge production processes and speak effectively before groups.
Required Qualifications
- High school education
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
