Job Summary
Welcome visitors with a smile, operate till systems, and provide up-to-date information on centre facilities. Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including barista-style coffee, while offering a range of light snacks and pre-packaged food items. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards, replenish café stock and vending machines, and keep spaces clean and well-organised. Work as part of a collaborative team, support the delivery of events and activities, and participate in relevant training. Hours are 17.5–21 per week on a rota basis, Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
- Comfortable using till systems and handling cash/card payments
- Able to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- A proactive, flexible and reliable team player
- Hours: 17.5 - 21 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
Desired Qualifications
- Barista experience is desirable but training can be provided
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role in leisure, fitness or community service settings
- Hospitality or Retail experience delivering customer excellence
