Cafe Assistant Manager (The Star)

Café Assistant Manager at Ascension Coffee, reporting to the Café General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Kitchen Manager. This developmental, hourly role supports operations across hiring, training, scheduling, team leadership, inventory management, and adherence to food safety and brand standards, with accountability for hospitality and driving café-level financial performance (Sales, COGs, Labor, and Pace). Responsibilities include assisting with inventory, invoices, payroll, and schedule submissions; maintaining quality and safe conditions; expanding knowledge of hospitality trends and specialty coffee; executing brand standards; actively driving sales growth through service quality, merchandising, and events; and fostering an inclusive, high-quality culture. The role requires strong communication, reliability for nights/weekends, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to take direction and coach others. This position is not remote and is a full-time, hourly role.
