Cadetship / Crew Internship Dredging & Offshore (Starting January/February 2027)

Job Summary
Cadet on board our vessels to support the crew with day-to-day tasks, participate in the wait system (wachtsysteem) of our vessels, apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and complete the assigned tasks from the graduation/taskbook. The internship is full-time (84 hours per week) with a rotation pattern (3 months – 3 weeks, adjustable). You will work within an international crew on dredging or offshore energy projects and may discuss future opportunities to join Boskalis as an employee after successful completion. Key environment includes maritime operations, ship maintenance, and nautical activities, with a focus on hands-on learning and collaboration in English. Requires enrollment in a Dutch educational program and a prior interest in dredging or offshore energy.
Required Qualifications
- A mbo/hbo student in Maritiem Officier, Scheepswerktuigkunde, Stuurman, Waterbouw
- 18 year or older (due to international legislation)
- An interest in Dredging or Offshore Energy
- Enrolled in a Dutch educational program, throughout the duration of your internship
- Hands-on and open to other cultures
- A professional attitude and team player spirit
- Good understanding of the English language, both written and spoken
