Job Summary
Cadet Drafter to join the Rail & Metro team in Brisbane, contributing to development and production of rail infrastructure drawings under supervision; assist senior drafters with analysis, perform general office duties, produce construction-level documentation, follow check print procedures, and manage vault data; requires enrollment in an advanced diploma or associate degree, willingness to learn CAD technologies (Autodesk suite), and strong communication in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment; full working rights and a focus on career development within a global engineering and infrastructure consultancy.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolment in an Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
- Willingness to learn Civil Infrastructure and CAD technologies
- Willingness to learn CAD technologies, with emphasis on the Autodesk suite of products
- Ability to interpret and carry out instructions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a diverse and multidisciplinary environment
