Job Summary
Execute drafting assignments under supervision, including manual or computer-aided creation of general arrangement drawings, site plans, facility layouts, electrical schematics, and wiring connection requirements. Prepare as-built drawings from red-line copies and generate error-free revisions of existing CADD files while adhering to ECI Drafting Standards for symbols, legends, and layering. Handle drawing reproduction, material supply management, and other support tasks. Occasional travel or driving may be required.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in an acceptable curriculum or two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design
- Minimum of two years concentrated on the job experience in computer-aided drafting/design field
- Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven excellent level of interpersonal skills
- Ability to work individually and on a team
- Detailed oriented
- High level of organizational skills
- Proven ability to work with confidential information
- Proven ability to exercise independent judgment
- Occasional travel/driving
- Successful applicant is subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements
