Job Summary
Conduct individual and group substance abuse counseling for a caseload of 50 patients undergoing medication-assisted treatment. Develop comprehensive treatment plans, manage intake and assessments, and facilitate psycho-educational classes. Maintain client charts, participate in discharge planning, and present cases at multidisciplinary team meetings. Work Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Currently attending CADC classes or have completed coursework
- 6 months of relevant experience
- Case management skills
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the New Jersey Substance Abuse Monitoring System (NJSAMS)
- Bilingual skills
- Can maintain professionalism at all times
- Have a positive attitude
- Can de-escalate intense situations and use sound judgment in difficult situations
- Are organized and able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Take a constructive approach to problem-solving
