CAD Technician II (Surveying)

Job Summary
Perform technically complex land surveying assignments and review survey maps/documents for regulatory compliance. Research county/city sources of record on easements, deeds, and related information to prepare working sketches for field crews. Process field crew data using Trimble Business Center and produce files for AutoCAD import; create survey base drawings from field data and reference maps; generate detailed subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other survey exhibits. Check submittals for completeness/accuracy and prepare legal descriptions for right of way and acquisition parcels. Conduct QA/QC on work (self and others) and perform related duties as assigned. Strong verbal and written communication, mathematics proficiency, technical report writing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma
- Associates degrees in Surveying (preferred)
- SIT Certification (preferred)
- CST Certification (preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- E-Verify participation
