CAD Technician for surveying

Job Summary
CAD Technician to convert field survey data into precise CAD drawings and deliverables. Responsibilities include creating/revising CAD drawings from survey data, collaborating with surveyors and project managers, performing quality control, preparing survey plans and client deliverables, and staying current with CAD/surveying tech. Requires proficiency with Carlson Survey Software, AutoCAD, Civil 3D; associate degree or CAD-related certification; attention to detail; ability to work independently; strong communication and teamwork skills; valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or certification in CAD, drafting, or a related field
- Experience with CAD drafting/design (land surveying experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Carlson Survey Software, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of surveying principles is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
