Job Summary
Analyze and adhere to project CAD standards while preparing finished design drawings from sketches, notes, and layout details in 2D and 3D. Work within engineering collaboration platforms like ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud, performing self-checks for quality assurance per project procedures. Collaborate with colleagues across different offices in a team-based environment under limited supervision. This role is based in the Spain Enterprise Capabilities Office in Madrid with a flexible hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Certificated in a drafting technology Institute, Technical or similar Professional Education or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines/different styles of leadership
- Fluent in English professional language (oral and written)
- Motivation and interest to keep growing in CAD focused position
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- CAD software (preferable AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer) accreditation will be considered favorable
