CAD Technician

Job Summary
CAD Technician role responsible for transferring templates for high quality kitchen worktops into accurate detailed technical drawings using CAD software, uploading product specification/data sheets, and liaising with sub-contractor suppliers/customers to resolve templating irregularities to meet RFT quality targets. Daily coordination with sales and main contractors on site to ensure information handover and recording, contributing to OTIF KPI targets, and supporting CI activities to improve Worksurfaces production efficiency. The role requires understanding CAD practices (StonePro), knowledge of manufacturing tolerances and quality standards, health and safety compliance, and strong Excel KPI capture. Main responsibilities include creating high-quality detailed drawings from digital and physical templates, ensuring timely release to office targets, coordinating with sales/template teams on irregularities, and addressing live production queries while supporting continuous improvement and customer delight.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working within Cad or Worktop design (Stonepro)
- CAM software experience (Tops, Prenest, Touch) desirable but not essential
- Experience working with digital / physical templates
- Proliner or laser template experience desirable but not essential
- Computer literate around Excel, word, and operating systems
