Job Summary
CAD Technician III role supporting surveying and engineering projects through advanced CAD production, field data processing, and coordination with survey crews. Responsible for producing topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and subdivision drawings, construction stakeout calculations, as-built drawings from daily field updates, processing SUE data, and integrating drone survey data into mapping workflows. Requires extensive experience in both survey operations and CAD workflows, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software, and the ability to ensure data accuracy and timely project delivery. Strong collaboration with field crews, engineers, and project managers to maintain standards and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in surveying and CAD production
- Strong background in both field surveying and office data processing
- Proven ability to manage complex survey datasets and produce accurate deliverables
- Advanced understanding of survey principles, boundary law basics, and construction layout
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction plans
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
