Job Summary
Partner with business to solve problems and make improvements regarding CAD-related processes, products, and PLM tools, primarily using PTC Creo Parametric and Windchill. Troubleshoot tough issues, write clear problem statements without solutions, and create optimal conceptual designs for developers. Manage requirements, data, and methods while promoting commonality and minimizing complexity. Handle significant project management and software user skills, often including production support. This role focuses on relationships, communications, and process improvements rather than day-to-day technical coding.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in an engineering field
- 2-5 years work experience using Creo Parametric with Windchill
- Ability to troubleshoot tough issues
- Ability to write a clear problem statement
- Ability to understand and write requirements
- Ability to create optimal conceptual/solution designs
- Significant project management skills
- Significant data management skills
- Windchill software user skills
- Creo Parametric software user skills
- This position requires working onsite five days a week
- Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Windchill or Creo Parametric support, training, or administration
- Strong background or interest in computer science
- Interest in 3D printing or additive manufacturing
- Knowledge of Model-Based Definition
- Knowledge of PLM/CAD AI tools
