Job Summary
Coordinate and manage drawing development for multiple projects in the power generation/industrial construction sector. Assign CAD Developers to create drawings (including P&IDs), review drawings for accuracy against sketches/redlines, and ensure adherence to CAD department standards. Develop project trackers and schedules, provide status updates to clients, and maintain technical library and documentation. Act as technical advisor for drawing review and CAD software utilization; may perform CAD development tasks (P&IDs) from field sketches/redlines. Requires strong AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and proficiency with engineering drawings, with emphasis on P&ID diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and cross-discipline coordination. Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, time management, and ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams. Safety-conscious, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects and resources. Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; five years in heavy industrial or power generation drawing development; supervisory experience; proficiency with AutoCAD and related software; strong organizational skills.
