CAD Operator / Designer — Low Voltage Systems

Job Summary
CAD Operator/Designer to design fire alarm, access control, security, and nurse call systems for low voltage projects. Create shop drawings using AutoCAD, analyze blueprints, coordinate submittals with architects/engineers/AHJs, perform site visits, and produce Operations & Maintenance manuals and as-built drawings. Requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of NFPA/NEC/IBC/IFC/IMC codes; High School diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license. NICET Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology – Fire Alarm Systems is preferred. Role supports a growing Low Voltage division across Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama with focus on Northwest Arkansas expansion. Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience designing electronic systems and/or fire alarm systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong working knowledge of NFPA, NEC, IBC, IFC, IMC, and related codes
- Proficient in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
- Knowledge of general construction practices and terminology
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements
