Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of up to 10 CAD Designers in an industrial automation environment; oversee CAD standards, drawing control, and data management using Autodesk Vault; contribute technically on electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control panel layouts; drive CAD automation and quality checks; provide training and collaborate with engineering and production, including CNC integration.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong experience with UL508A control panel design (required)
- Lead and coordinate a team of CAD Designers (up to 10)
- Support electrical design work including schematics, P&IDs, and control panel layouts
- Manage and enforce CAD standards, procedures, and best practices
- Drive efficiency improvements, including CAD automation and quality checks
- Oversee drawing control and data management using Autodesk Vault
- Provide technical support and training on CAD tools and standards
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams, including CNC integration
